As we embrace the challenges and opportunities that will come through the energy transition, harnessing the collective insight, experience and future aspirations of everyone within our industry has never been more important.”
OGUK Chief Executive Deirdre Michie said:
“I’m delighted that Craig has agreed to serve as the inaugural chair of our industry’s first Diversity & Inclusion Task Group. With his considerable experience and passion for driving improvements in the industry, Craig will help lead the action we need to achieve the ambitions set out in Roadmap 2035.
“Our industry supports around 270,000 skilled jobs, but with women representing only one in four of the talent pool, there is clearly still more work to be done. It’s not just about gender alone and involves diversity of race and ethnicity, as well as skills and thought. We look forward to announcing more about the work of the Task Group in the coming weeks and months.”
