Our Examining Doctors conference is a great opportunity for medical professionals from across the UK and abroad to share knowledge and debate issues surrounding the practice of medicals offshore.
As usual, there will be presentations from both the UK sector and abroad, where we will specifically address the question of the medical assessment necessary for the expected introduction later this year of ‘in-water’ training in use of Category A EBS on survival courses.
The conference is aimed at Oil and Gas UK’s examining doctors and also any doctors not yet on the Oil & Gas UK register but interested in performing Oil & Gas UK medicals.
Oil & Gas UK welcomes presentations from examining doctors themselves, and it is not yet too late to volunteer should you have an interesting topic to discuss or case to present.
Edinburgh and the Surgeons’ Hall of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh is playing host to the conference this year.
The capital city has excellent transportation links with the rest of the UK and beyond, and will be of cultural and touristic interest for those making their conference attendance part of a longer stay.
Tickets for our conference tend to go fast so we recommend that you book your place promptly.
